Accessibility Statement
Project Canaan Academy keeps this information available so families and visitors know what to expect.
Our aim
Project Canaan Academy wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or other assistive technology.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks, and a “Skip to main content” link
- The site can be used with a keyboard alone
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives
- Text and backgrounds are chosen for readable contrast
- Pages adapt to phones, tablets and larger screens
- Animations respect your device’s reduced-motion setting
Known limitations
Some older documents in the Download Centre, such as scanned PDFs, may not be fully accessible. If you need a document in a different format, please ask and we will do our best to help.
Tell us about a problem
If you find part of the website difficult to use, please contact the school and tell us the page and the problem. We will reply and try to fix it or provide the information another way.
