Project Canaan Academy is growing into a full secondary school. We teach up to Grade 8 today and are adding a grade each year, with our first Grade 12 class expected to graduate in 2030.
How the school is growing
| Year | Highest grade |
|---|---|
| 2026 | Grade 8 |
| 2027 | Grade 9 |
| 2028 | Grade 10 |
| 2029 | Grade 11 |
| 2030 | Grade 12, our first graduating class |
Qualifications
Learning continues through the IEB framework, the same framework that guides our curriculum today. As the school grows into the Further Education and Training (FET) phase, learners will work towards the IEB National Senior Certificate, and subject choices for the senior grades will be announced as each new grade is introduced.
Questions from families
If your child is approaching the senior grades, we are happy to talk you through the plan. Please contact the school.
